Theory of Quantum Entanglement
The photon plays an intrinsic role in the theory of quantum entanglement, so to begin; a short description of the photon is given.
A photon is in effect a quantum of electromagnetic radiation. The photon can demonstrate properties as existing as either being a particle or a wave. The photon has no electrical charge or mass, but does posses both energy and momentum.
If a photon (commonly generated from polarized light) passes through any material it will be absorbed by an electron. The electron will jump to a higher energy level, then immediately return to its stable ground state emitting the photon.
The theory of entanglement shows that when a photon is emitted from a certain type of material, (usually a crystalline st
